"Confidential assessment" and "private interview" forms (owners): name, email address, telephone number, location and, where given, a description of the property. Purpose: to answer your request, prepare a first conversation and, if you wish, an assessment of your residence. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
Booking form (stays): name, email address, telephone number, requested dates and residence. Purpose: to process your stay request. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps.
Audience measurement: the site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand which pages are read. IP addresses are truncated by the service and audience data is never matched with form data.
We never sell or rent data, and we send no unsolicited commercial communication.
Form data is received by the management of Le 17ème Parallèle and passes technically through Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). Audience data is processed by Google Ireland Limited. No other third party has access, save where required by law.
Owner and stay enquiries that do not lead to a contract: three years from the last contact. Data linked to a contract: the term of the contract, then statutory retention periods (up to ten years for accounting records). Audience data: fourteen months.
The site only sets Google Analytics 4 audience-measurement cookies. No advertising cookies, no social-network trackers. You can object to audience measurement by configuring your browser to refuse third-party cookies or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and French data-protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@17eparallele.com; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to form data is restricted to management and protected by authentication. Study documents delivered to owners are covered by a non-disclosure agreement.
